Shelby and Nima met each other through happenstance one evening at a popular restaurant and lounge on July 21st, 2018. Shelby was there to celebrate her roommate's birthday. She was very excited for the occasion. This was her first time out with friends since she had moved there just 3 months earlier. Nima, on the other hand, was not planning to go out at all, but was persuaded by a friend to go for a drink. A VERY good friend. The two guys were walking through the restaurant, and noticed a friend that was there for her birthday. This happen to be very same friend that Shelby had come to celebrate. As paths crossed and introductions were exchanged, it was very clear to the pair, that they would be seeing each other again. She instantly fell for his pretty eyes and gentleman attitude. She'd like to think he fell for her confidence and matter of fact attitude.

In any case, Nima made quite sure they would see each other the very next weekend on their first date. That first date turned into many more and frequent adventures together.

Now, four and half years later, the couple have built a wonderful fur family consisting of two dogs, Sammy and Gus, and one, very dog like cat, Cyrus.
